Systemic- & Family
Constellation Work
Finding your inner peace.
SYSTEMIC FAMILY- & CONSTELLATION WORK is a powerful method to help you RECOGNISE DIFFICULT ENTANGLEMENTS, both in your family of origin (parents, sibling) as well as in your present family (partner, children), relationship or any kind of system (organisational or natural constellation e.G. working team ) as well as to VISUALIZE AND UNDERSTAND a certain situation or life issue (e.G. diseases, existential issues).
.
During the process with the help of a group we set up a model of a system. Thus HIDDEN AND UNEXPECTED DYNAMICS operating within the system ARE REVEALED and addressed in a way that aims to find a HEALTHY AND RESPECTFUL PLACE for all members of the system in question.
.
SOLUTION-ORIENTED INTERVENTIONS bring understanding, to reveal and TRANSFORM HIDDEN PATTERNS that unknowingly influence our thoughts, behaviors and emotional experiences through multiple generations.
.
In a moment of insight, a new life course can be set in motion. The process can have an amazing and CURATIVE EFFECT on disease symptoms, relationships, or mental injuries. A NEW IMAGE, in which acceptance and inner peace can be felt, can now emerge.
VISUAL & HOLISTIC APPROACH
Family Constellations aid in addressing the root cause of our life’s most stubborn problems. In regular talk therapy, it is possible to discuss issues that trouble a person but it can be hard to get to the source of why we feel, think and act in ways that cause us pain.
When we examine our feelings and perceptions in a "field of knowing," we can break out of familial patterns that cause suffering. Working through our family constellation helps us to find the cause of our problems and resolve them.

ISSUES TREATED WITH CONSTELLATION WORK
Family constellations work is considered most effective in addressing concerns that are systemic in nature. These concerns might include family of origin issues, parent-child relationship difficulties, and intimate relationship challenges.
It may be used as a potential therapy method for people who:
-
Are seeking to address negative or harmful relationship patterns
-
Want to be in a romantic relationship
-
Are attempting to resolve family entanglements
-
Want to overcome inner turmoil
-
Have experienced significant trauma or loss
-
Are in search of personal and professional success
This alternative approach was developed by German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger in the mid-1990s. Family constellations therapy evolved out of his work as a family therapist and his belief in the energy, both positive and negative, found in familial bonds. Nearly 50 years of studying and treating families led to his observation of patterns of mental health concerns, illness, negative emotions, and potentially destructive behaviors within families, and he suggested individuals might unconsciously "adopt" these concerns as a way of helping other members to cope. Proponents of family constellations believe the method to be less restrictive than other methods of therapy and support its capacity to allow people to see different perspectives and alternate solutions.
This approach draws from a number of other modalities, including Gestalt therapy, psychoanalysis, family sculpting, psychodynamic therapy, hyponotherapy, systemic family therapy, and spiritual beliefs.
